Towns (eye) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Towns sustained a right eye laceration in Wednesday's double-overtime win over Denver and was held out of Friday's loss to Detroit. If he remains sidelined Sunday, Mitchell Robinson would likely step into the starting five, while Ariel Hukporti could see a significant bump in minutes.

Jones (recently traded) is available for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

As expected, Jones will shed his probable tag and make his Mavericks debut Saturday. He'll likely play a meaningful role off the bench behind Cooper Flagg and Max Christie. Jones appeared in 48 regular-season games (eight starts) for the Magic before the trade, during which he averaged 3.0 points and 2.4 assists while shooting 34.2 percent from the field in 15.7 minutes per contest.

Williams (leg) is available for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Williams is set to return from a two-game absence. The guard is averaging 16.8 points, 3.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 20.8 minutes over his last five contests.

Johnson (recently traded) will be available for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Just because Johnson is available, that doesn't mean he will actually see the floor. The second-year guard was unable to carve out a role in Washington, and he's facing an uphill battle for playing time in Dallas too.

Middleton (recently traded) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Middleton will have to wait at least one more game to make his Mavericks debut, as Wednesday's trade that centered around Anthony Davis (hand/groin) going to the Wizards is yet to be finalized. Middleton's next chance to play is Tuesday against the Suns.

Bagley (recently traded) is available to play Saturday against the Spurs.

Bagley was part of the Wizards' trade package that was sent to the Mavericks on Wednesday in exchange for Anthony Davis (hand/groin), Dante Exum (knee), D'Angelo Russell (recently traded) and Jaden Hardy (recently traded). Bagley will likely be penciled in as the backup behind Daniel Gafford, but he'll have to hold off Dwight Powell for the role.

Kornet (ankle/adductor) is "looking good" to return Saturday against the Mavericks, Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com reports.

Kornet was unable to play against the Mavericks on Thursday due to left ankle soreness and left adductor tightness, but head coach Mitch Johnson expressed optimism that the veteran big man would be available for Saturday's rematch. Kornet has served as the main backup to Victor Wembanyama this season, but the former's absence would likely lead to more minutes for Carter Bryant and Kelly Olynyk.

Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson told reporters that it's "looking good" for Fox (back) to be available for Saturday's game against the Mavericks, Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com reports.

Fox is still listed as questionable for Saturday's contest, but it appears the veteran point guard will suit up against Dallas. He has dished out at least seven assists in each of his last six outings, and over that span he has averaged 14.5 points, 8.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.5 threes and 1.0 steals over 32.7 minutes per game.

Hauser (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Knicks.

Hauser is in jeopardy of missing Sunday's contest due to lower-back spasms. If the sharpshooting forward is ultimately ruled out, Hugo Gonzalez, Baylor Scheierman and Jordan Walsh would be candidates for increased playing time.

LaVine (finger) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.

LaVine is dealing with right finger soreness and won't suit up in the second half of this back-to-back set. The veteran swingman's absence should open up more minutes for Nique Clifford, Malik Monk and Devin Carter. LaVine's next chance to play will come on the road against the Pelicans on Monday.
