  • Dillon Brooks SF | PHO

Suns' Dillon Brooks: Scores 24 points with seven boards

Brooks racked up 24 points (10-23 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 victory over Golden State.

Brooks was hot to start Thursday's game, as he dropped in 13 points on seven shots in his first six minutes of play, and he finished as Phoenix's second-leading scorer in the narrow win. As good as he was, Brooks nearly cost Phoenix the game by picking up a silly technical foul late that put Golden State in the position to tie it up, but ultimately, the Suns were able to eke out a win and hit the brakes on a two-game skid.

  • Devin Booker SG | PHO

Suns' Devin Booker: Scores 25 points in win

Booker ended with 25 points (9-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 win over the Warriors.

Booker started slow in this one, going into the halftime tunnel with just two points on 1-for-7 shooting, but he caught fire during the second half and hit some clutch shots down the stretch in the narrow win. Booker commented after the game that the reason for the improved second-half play was due to him shedding some protective shorts he was wearing that were restricting his movement in an effort to protect his groin, and he confirmed he would no longer be sporting the "core shorts." Booker has played well since coming back from the groin injury, and he'll look to keep it going in a rematch with the Warriors on Saturday.

  • Suns' Collin Gillespie: Nets 16 points with full line

Gillespie closed with 16 points (5-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 win over the Warriors.

Gillespie briefly exited Thursday's game after a knee-to-knee collision with Jonathan Kuminga, but after a quick checkup in the locker room, Gillespie got right back into the game and didn't seem any worse for wear. That said, this is the sort of injury that could swell up overnight, so don't be surprised if Gillespie pops up on the injury report ahead of Saturday's rematch with the Warriors.

  • Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Nets 18 points off 11 shots

Podziemski ended with 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 loss to the Suns.

While most of his teammates struggled with their shot and finished with a negative differential, Podziemski scored efficiently and recorded a team-best net rating of plus-15. He hit some tough, clutch shots down the stretch and did a nice job of pushing the pace, but unfortunately, the end result was another loss for the Warriors.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Logs 10 minutes in loss

Kuminga had two points (1-5 FG), four rebounds and one assist over 10 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 loss to the Suns.

Kuminga was the 12th man in the rotation Thursday evening, so while he has worked his way back onto the floor, he's still not receiving enough minutes to make an impact in fantasy leagues. For what it's worth, head coach Steve Kerr acknowledged after the game that Kuminga was "good" in the 10 minutes he played, and he praised Kuminga for his speed and athleticism, per Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle.

  • Jimmy Butler SF | GS

Warriors' Jimmy Butler: Nets 31 points in tough loss

Butler logged 31 points (11-17 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 loss to Phoenix.

This was a nice bounce-back game from Butler, who was coming off a 3-for-11 shooting performance, and his only three-point make was a big one that tied the game with 35 seconds left in regulation. Unfortunately, a ticky-tack foul committed by Moses Moody allowed the Suns to get to the charity stripe with 0.4 seconds left in regulation, and that was all she wrote for Golden State. The Warriors have now lost three straight and are 4-9 over their past 15 games.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Fights through illness

Davis stated after Thursday's game against the Pistons that he was feeling under the weather but managed to play through the illness, Noah Weber of TheSmokingCuban.com reports. He finished with 15 points (7-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 37 minutes.

Davis mentioned after the game that he vomited twice during Thursday's matchup, which would explain why he went to the locker room near the end of the third quarter. However, he was ultimately able to come back for the start of the fourth quarter. Davis' status will be worth monitoring heading into Saturday's game in Philly. All things considered, this is relatively good news for Davis, who emphasized that his calf and knee are feeling fine.

  • Luka Doncic PG | LAL

Lakers' Luka Doncic: Records monster triple-double

Doncic erupted for 45 points (14-28 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 13-16 FT), 11 rebounds, 14 assists and five steals over 40 minutes during Thursday's 143-135 win in Utah.

Doncic was coming off a 7-for-25 shooting performance, but he got his points efficiently and plentifully Thursday evening, while matching his season-high in steals. This marked Doncic's first 40-point triple-double as a Laker, placing him alongside Elgin Baylor, Magic Johnson, and Jerry West as the only players in franchise history to accomplish the feat.

  • Keyonte George SG | UTA

Jazz's Keyonte George: Drops 34 points

George registered 34 points (9-20 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 11-12 FT), four rebounds and eight assists in 39 minutes during Thursday's 143-135 loss to the Lakers.

George had his shot working from beyond the arc, where he tacked on 15 of his 34 points on the evening. He's now drilled five triples in three straight matchups, finishing with 30-plus points in all three appearances.

  • Spurs' Jeremy Sochan: Muted role continues

Sochan recorded zero points (0-1 FG), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 16 minutes during Thursday's 119-94 win over the Wizards.

Sochan was back in the rotation, albeit in a limited role, likely as a result of the blowout. Prior to Thursday, Sochan had played a total of four minutes in three games, two of which he failed to see the floor at all. With Victor Wembanyama likely to ramp up his playing time over the coming weeks, it appears as though Sochan could be irrelevant moving forward.
