  • Ty Jerome SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Unlikely to go Friday

Jerome is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Mavericks due to a left thigh contusion.

Jerome put up 22 points in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors and appears to have picked up a thigh injury along the way. Assuming he's ultimately downgraded to out, look for Scotty Pippen, Walter Clayton and Javon Small to get more looks in the backcourt.

  • Cedric Coward SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Ruled out for Friday

Coward (knee) is out for Friday's game against Dallas.

A sprained knee is resulting in a sixth consecutive absence for the rookie swingman, and it doesn't look like Memphis is in a rush to get Coward back onto the floor. The injury-plagued Grizzlies should once again turn to Jaylen Wells for an expanded role, and Rayan Rupert has a clearer path to minutes as well.

  • Ajay Mitchell PG | OKC

    Thunder's Ajay Mitchell: Remaining out

Mitchell (abdomen/ankle) is out for Friday's game against Denver, per Clemente Almanza of USA Today.

Mitchell remains without a timetable for a return due to an abdominal strain and ankle sprain. Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe should both continue to take on a more pronounced role in the Oklahoma City backcourt Friday.

  • Thunder's Branden Carlson: Remaining sidelined

Carlson (back) is out for Friday's game against the Nuggets, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Carlson exited Wednesday's game against Detroit due to low back soreness, and the issue is significant enough to keep him from taking the floor Friday. His next opportunity to play will arrive Sunday in Dallas.

  • Alex Caruso PG | OKC

Thunder's Alex Caruso: Not listed on injury report

Caruso (ankle) is not listed on the injury report for Friday's game versus the Nuggets, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Caruso was hit with a maintenance day on the second leg of a back-to-back set Wednesday, but he'll be back in action Friday night and should resume his usual workload. Caruso's return should result in fewer minutes for Nikola Topic and Aaron Wiggins.

  • Isaiah Joe SG | OKC

Thunder's Isaiah Joe: Omitted from injury report

Joe (glute) is off the injury report for Friday's game against Denver, per Clemente Almanza of USA Today.

After suffering a bruised left glute in Wednesday's loss to Detroit, Joe is ready to roll for Friday's showdown. The sharpshooter has been on fire as of late, averaging 16.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 3.7 three-pointers per tilt in 10 games while shooting 51.4 percent from deep.

  • Spurs' Stephon Castle: Expects to play Thursday

Castle (hip) is expected to play in Thursday's game against the Nets, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.

Castle remains listed as questionable on the injury report due to left hip soreness, but he's evidently trending in the right direction. The team should have confirmation on his status after watching him go through pre-game warmups.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Not listed on injury report

Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's meeting with the Nuggets, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

It appears that Gilgeous-Alexander will be back in action Friday evening following a nine-game layoff, so don't be surprised if he has some minutes restrictions. The return of Oklahoma City's MVP will likely result in either Aaron Wiggins or Cason Wallace heading back to the second unit, and Jared McCain's playing time will see a sizeable dip.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Set for Friday return

Holmgren (back) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Nuggets, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Holmgren took a seat for Wednesday's matchup against the Pistons, but he'll be back on the court Friday. The 23-year-old is averaging 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.6 blocks over his previous five showings.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Absent from injury report

Hartenstein (calf) is off the injury report for Friday's game against Denver, per Clemente Almanza of USA Today.

Hartenstein sat out Wednesday's loss in Detroit, but he's good to go Friday. He's started eight consecutive outings, during which Hartenstein has averaged 9.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 23.1 minutes per game while shooting 66.7 percent from the floor.
