  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Remaining out Thursday

Hayes (foot) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Warriors.

Hayes will miss a second consecutive game due to left foot soreness, and his next opportunity to play is Friday against the Suns. Maxi Kleber and Drew Timme should both operate in expanded roles for as long as Hayes is sidelined.

  • Marcus Smart PG | LAL

Lakers' Marcus Smart: Questionable to play Thursday

Smart (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Warriors.

Smart has missed the Lakers' last seven games due to a right ankle contusion. He has progressed enough in his recovery to be given the questionable tag for Thursday's contest, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him play in one game of the Lakers' upcoming back-to-back set and sit out the other contest, assuming he's cleared to suit up. Smart's return would provide a significant boost to a Lakers team that is without Luka Doncic (hamstring) and Austin Reaves (oblique).

  • Grizzlies' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Not playing Wednesday

Prosper (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Denver.

Prosper's absence comes as no surprise given that he was tagged as doubtful on Tuesday's injury report due to right ankle soreness. He's been in the Grizzlies' starting lineup since the All-Star break, so Taylor Hendricks and Taj Gibson should both see more run time against the Nuggets. Prosper's next opportunity to play is Friday against the Jazz.

  • Rayan Rupert SG | MEM

    Grizzlies' Rayan Rupert: Unavailable Wednesday

Rupert (two-way) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Rupert will be held out of Wednesday's contest as the Grizzlies manage his availability while he remains signed to a two-way deal. He'll be eligible to play in both of Memphis' final two games after Wednesday.

  • Jahmai Mashack SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Jahmai Mashack: Will play Wednesday

Mashack (concussion) is available for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

The rookie second-rounder missed the Grizzlies' last two games due to a concussion, but he has cleared the league's protocol and will return for Wednesday's contest. In 16 games since the All-Star break, Mashack has averaged 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals over 25.6 minutes per contest.

  • Vit Krejci SF | POR

Trail Blazers' Vit Krejci: Remaining out Wednesday

Krejci (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.

Krejci will miss a 12th consecutive contest due to a left calf contusion and remains without a clear timetable for a return. His next chance to play will come Friday against the Clippers.

  • Shaedon Sharpe SG | POR

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Ruled out Wednesday

Sharpe (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.

Sharpe was initially upgraded to doubtful, though he'll end up missing his 28th consecutive contest. He can be considered doubtful for Friday's game against the Clippers until Portland offers an update on his status.

  • Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Advances to 5-on-5 work

Haliburton announced via his personal X account that he participated in 5-on-5 work Wednesday.

Although Indiana's campaign is nearly over and it's been known since July that Haliburton would not suit up this season, this marks an important step in the star point guard's rehab. The 26-year-old suffered a torn right Achilles tendon in last year's Game 7 loss to the Thunder in the NBA Finals, and he'll hope to get back on the floor by Opening Night of the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Spurs' Emanuel Miller: Available Wednesday

Miller (undisclosed) is listed as available for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Miller missed the G League Austin Spurs' playoff loss to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on March 31, though he's available for the parent club Wednesday. However, the two-way player isn't guaranteed to see the floor.

  • Paul Reed C | DET

Pistons' Paul Reed: Not starting Wednesday

Reed won't start Wednesday's game against Milwaukee.

Reed got the start in Monday's 123-107 loss to Orlando, finishing with nine points, six rebounds, two assists and one block across 19 minutes. However, with Tobias Harris (knee) available, Reed will come off the bench.
