Ward logged nine tackles (six solo) and a pass deflection during San Francisco's 27-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Ward was dealing with hamstring and knee injuries throughout last week but ended up having a big game regardless, as he led the 49ers in tackles. Throughout the first three games of the season, the 28-year-old has now amassed 13 tackles (nine solo) and three pass deflections.
