Ward recorded five tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 35-10 loss at Buffalo.
Ward had sat out the 49ers' previous three games due to a serious personal matter, but he resumed his regular every-down role Sunday. He should be San Francisco's top cornerback for the rest of the season as long as he's available.
