McCaffrey (thigh) returned to Sunday's contest in Atlanta, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
McCaffrey missed the entire second quarter as he had his left thigh worked on, which officially left him as questionable to return before he checked back in for the 49ers' first possession of the third quarter. Now that he's back in the contest, he likely will continue to lead San Francisco's backfield.
