Hayes (undisclosed) reverted to the 49ers' injured reserve Sunday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Hayes was waived/injured by San Francisco on Saturday but will head to the team's injured reserve after clearing waivers. While the nature of his injury isn't yet clear, he'll be forced to miss the 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the 49ers.
