Luter (knee) is active ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
The rookie out of South Alabama had been on San Francisco's PUP list since late August, but he was activated to the team's active roster Saturday and is now in line to play in Sunday's contest. Luter is expected to serve as a rotational cornerback on the 49ers' defense now that he's ready to return to the field.
