Ford (back) was not activated from injured reserve prior to Sunday's matchup against the Vikings, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Ford was designated to return from injured reserve Thursday, which allows him to practice with the team. However, he's not yet ready for game action, so his next chance to take the field will be Week 13 against Seattle. Whenever he suits up next, it will be his first time being active since Week 7.
