Halton (ankle) does not have an injury designation ahead of Thursday's contest against the Rams, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Halton has been dealing with a persistent ankle injury. The defensive tackle sustained the injury in mid-August after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of the start of training camp. The fourth-round rookie has gotten over both issues and is set to start at left defensive tackle in the 49ers' Week 1 contest in Melbourne, Australia.
