The 49ers activated Kinlaw (knee) from injured reserve Friday.
Kinlaw was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday and has since been added to the active roster, putting him in line to make his first appearance since suffering an elbow injury during Week 3. Given his prolonged absence, Kinlaw figures to be limited during his presumed return to action against the Commanders on Saturday.
