Garoppolo completed 22 of 30 pass attempts for 189 yards and a touchdown, adding 20 yards and another touchdown on 11 carries in Sunday's 17-11 win over the Eagles.

Garoppolo didn't have as many big throws as he did in last week's win over the Lions, completing just one pass over 11 yards (a 40-yard strike to Deebo Samuel) against a tougher Eagles defense. The 29-year-old did bolster his stat line with a rushing touchdown when he took a quarterback sneak into the end zone for the eventual winning score. Rookie backup Trey Lance did not vulture a touchdown this week, and surprisingly, he did not even record a pass attempt or rush in a close victory. Garoppolo should be considered a mid-tier option heading into a matchup against the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
