Cyprien (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
The 30-year-old sustained the injury during Sunday's loss to the Saints and will be sidelined for at least the next three weeks. Cyprien has exclusively played special teams this season, so his absence shouldn't impact San Francisco's defense.
