Deguara was released by the 49ers on Monday.
The tight end was let go to open a spot for defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko Jr. Deguara joined the Niners in late July after catching three passes for 21 yards and a score with the Cardinals in 2025. The third-round pick of the Packers in 2020 has played more on special teams than defense in each of the last three seasons.
