Hyder (ankle) has been deemed inactive ahead of Saturday's game versus the Commanders, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Hyder will miss his first game of the season due to a lingering ankle injury picked up during the Week 14 win over Tampa Bay. The seventh-year defensive end has played a rotational role for San Francisco's dangerous pass rush this season. With Drake Jackson (coach's decision) also inactive Saturday, Charles Omenihu and Jordan Willis should be in line for increased usage behind Nick Bosa and Samson Ebukam.
