The 49ers placed Turner (undisclosed) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Turner signed a one-year deal with the 49ers on July 25, but he will now be forced to miss the entire 2024 season unless he is waived with an injury settlement. Turner last saw NFL action in 2022 with San Francisco, when he played 49 snaps on special teams across three regular-season outings.
