The 49ers are signing Wilson to a one-year contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Wilson split the first eight years of his career evenly between the Patriots and Lions before spending time with the Colts in 2020. The veteran now stands to bolster the 49ers' secondary depth, a role which will make him unlikely to pop up on the IDP radar unless starters in front of him go down.
