Williams plans to continue his holdout until his contract is addressed, putting his Week 1 availability into question, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Williams has accrued non-rescindable $50,000 fines for each missed day of training camp. Plus, he'll be docked a game check for each of the three preseason contests his holdout covered. He presumably expects to make up that money and then some upon reaching an agreement with the 49ers, after fellow offensive tackles Tristan Wirfs and Penei Sewell reached $28 million per year on their respective contracts this offseason. Williams has three years remaining on a six-year, $138 million contract ($23m AAV) and is scheduled for a $20.5 million base salary in 2024 and $22.5 million in 2025.
