Lance scored a one-yard touchdown on his only carry in Sunday's 30-28 loss to Green Bay.

Lance technically was on the field for three offensive snaps (four percent), but he only logged the one offensive touch after his pass attempt was called back due to a penalty. Jimmy Garoppolo struggled noticeably for the first time this season, but he salvaged his performance with a strong second half. If the veteran starter continues to show cracks as the season progresses, Lance may find himself taking over sooner than expected. For now, the rookie signal-caller should only be expected to enter Week 4's contest against Seattle sporadically at best.
