Lance (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

When the QB was carted off the field he had an air cast on his lower right leg, with the team now confirming that Lance sustained an ankle injury. If he's forced to miss time beyond Sunday's contest, which seems likely, Jimmy Garoppolo would be in line to serve as the 49ers' starting signal caller.
