The Browns released Clayborn on Tuesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
This move provides the Browns roughly $3 million in salary-cap space when the new league year begins March 17. Clayborn played 14 games for the Browns in 2020, averaging 27 defensive snaps per contest and producing 12 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a pass breakup. The 32-year-old defensive end will seek his fourth team in four years.
