Colbert was released by the Jets Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Colbert hasn't played with the Jets since suffering a concussion in their Week 4 win over the Titans. The fifth-year pro has already played for four different teams in his career and will now likely be looking for his fifth. Colbert has 16 tackles (10 solo) while playing 151 defensive snaps across four games this season.
