Carter has been suspended by the NFL "for the next week of the 2026 season", Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
The Texans waived the cornerback from injured reserve July 1. Carter will need to miss Week 3 due to the suspension, though that will not change much, as the free agent remains without a team.
