Thomas (forearm) was released from the 49ers' injured reserve Tuesday.
Thomas has spent the entirety of the 2024 season on injured reserve with a broken forearm that he suffered in August. He will continue to focus on recovering from the injury, and, once healthy, the cornerback will shift his focus to finding his next opportunity in the league.
