The Texans signed Beck to the practice squad Thursday.
Beck was cut from the Packers' practice squad Oct. 22 after reaching the three-game maximum of gameday elevations to the active roster. Beck will be available for elevation to the Texans' 53-man roster should Houston need depth at running back and on special teams. He's also played tight end and could be useful there after the Texans placed Teagan Quitoriano (knee) on injured reserve.
