The Patriots cut Rupcich (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Rupcich played 58 offensive snaps in the Patriots' preseason opener last week but picked up an injury and had been on injured reserve since Saturday. He's now free to look for work elsewhere but will need to get healthy.
