The Panthers signed Tyus to the practice squad Thursday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Tyus was on the Panthers' 53-man roster for two games this season, though he didn't spend a lot of time on the field. He was waived Tuesday to clear a roster spot. However, after clearing waivers, Tyus will rejoin the practice squad.
