The Colts released Woods on Monday.
Woods suffered a hamstring injury during the Colts preseason win over the Vikings, and the setback was enough to cost the veteran a roster spot. Over the past three seasons with the Cowboys, Woods has appeared in 39 games and registered 80 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries.
