Fields will start Saturday's preseason game against the Titans, likely playing about two quarters, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Andy Dalton, confirmed as the Week 1 starter, won't play in the preseason finale, but the Bears do plan to play at least some of their O-line starters for a brief period at the beginning of the game. In any case, Fields gets another chance to put pressure on Dalton, who already seems on thin ice for anything beyond the season opener. The rookie has completed 23 of 39 passes (59 percent) for 222 yards (5.7 YPA) through two preseason games with one touchdown and one interception, plus nine carries for 76 yards.
