Bears head coach Matt Nagy said Fields underwent tests on the hyperextended left knee he suffered in Sunday's win over the Raiders, with the scans revealing nothing of major concern, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Chicago could look to limit Fields' practice reps early in the week for maintenance purposes, but the rookie signal-caller should be good to go for the Bears' next game Oct. 17 against the Packers. After suffering the injury in the second quarter Sunday, Fields missed only two plays and finished the day with 12 completions on 20 attempts for 111 yards and his first career touchdown pass.
