According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Jay Cutler (shoulder) is expected to miss multiple games, which will allow Barkley to start Sunday against the Titans.

Barkley's first and only action of the season occurred in Week 7, when Brian Hoyer suffered a broken forearm and no other quarterback was active. In the meantime, Cutler has started three consecutive games, but his shoulder injury could wipe away the rest of the campaign. Unless the Bears opt to test the free-agent market, Barkley will be under center this weekend, but his track record includes 55.4-percent passing, no touchdowns, and six interceptions in five career appearances.
