The Bears placed Sharpe (undisclosed) on injured reserve Wednesday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Sharpe led the Bears with 44 yards in the preseason opener but missed the final two exhibition games due to an undisclosed injury. He made the initial 53-man roster but, barring an injury settlement, will now miss the entire 2022 campaign.
