The Bengals placed Hill (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Saturday.

Hill will be eligible to participate in practice once healthy, but he will be limited to sideline work until then. Once healthy, the 31-year-old is expected to serve as a rotational defensive tackle during the upcoming campaign.
