Allen completed 15 of 29 passes for 136 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Bengals' 21-16 loss to the Browns on Sunday. He also rushed once for three yards and committed a fumble that was recovered by the offense.

Allen drew the start for Joe Burrow (knee) and wasn't asked to do much. The 29-year-old was able to help Ja'Marr Chase set the rookie franchise receiving yardage record and also fired a touchdown throw to Chris Evans from four yards out with just over two minutes remaining in the contest. Burrow will be back under center when the Bengals begin the postseason with a wild-card game next weekend.
