The injury that forced Boyd from Sunday's game against the Browns has been diagnosed as a dislocated finger, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
With Boyd and Tee Higgins (hamstring) both out, the Bengals had to turn to Trenton Irwin and Trent Taylor whenever Ja'Marr Chase was covered. Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Boyd isn't expected to face a long-term absence as a result of the injury.
