Coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Lewis is day-to-day with a stinger, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Lewis did not play any defensive snaps Sunday versus the Giants, and that he's dealing with some pain might help to explain why. He'll get a few chances to show improvement over the week at practice before Buffalo's game at New England in Week 7.
