Bills general manager GM Doug Whaley said on his WGR 550 morning radio show that he's pleased with the progress of running back Karlos Williams through concussion protocol. "There haven't been any setbacks," Whaley said. "He had some tests Monday and I'll be getting those reports to see where he is. He's responding to treatment and he's getting better and better. Will he play this weekend? Only time will tell and we'll know later on in the week."
It's also worth noting that LeSean McCoy (calf) might be back within a game or two. Other than quarterback Tyrod Taylor, the Bills didn't run the ball particularly well in Williams' absence last week, so he'd certainly be in line for the bulk of the carries against the Bengals should he be able to play and McCoy is out.
