Shakir secured all five targets for 54 yards and rushed once for two yards in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Shakir served as the Bills' leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night, which was particularly noteworthy in a game during which Josh Allen recorded only 13 completions for 139 yards. The third-year wideout still is expected to serve as Buffalo's No. 1 receiver at least until rookie Keon Coleman gets his NFL legs under him, and Shakir will head into a Week 3 home matchup against the Jaguars on Monday, Sept. 23 with an 8-96-1 line on eight targets through the first two games.
