Milano has been diagnosed with a torn biceps and will undergo surgery with the hope of returning late in the 2024 season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schefter suggests that returning in December might be a reasonable goal for Milano, whose 2023 campaign ended Week 5 when he suffered a fractured leg. The linebacker worked his way back to full health and had been participating in training camp without limitations, but he's now set to miss a majority of his age-30 season, leaving more snaps at linebacker available for Dorian Williams and Nicholas Morrow (groin). Terrel Bernard appears locked in for an every-down role and is Buffalo's best IDP option at the position.
