Sims signed with the Bills on Wednesday.
Sims entered Week 1 of last season as Washington's No. 2 receiver, but he injured his toe in September and was limited to a depth role once he returned. The team then released him Monday, having vastly improved its wideout depth in the offseason. Sims now heads to Buffalo, where Isaiah McKenzie's shoulder injury has the Bills looking for a backup plan to handle return work and gadget plays. Sims is an obvious fit, albeit with some ball-security concerns when it comes to punt returns.
