Taylor completed 14 of 25 passes for 119 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 33-18 victory over the Cardinals. He also gained 76 yards and a touchdown on nine carries and fumbled twice, recovering one.
The six-year pro had his second lackluster showing through the air in the season's first three weeks, but more than made up for it on the ground. Taylor helped insure new offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn's offense made a grand debut, with a nifty 20-yard touchdown run, a game-long scamper of 49 yards, and a season high in rushing yards overall. Missing top target Sammy Watkins, Taylor was conservative through the air, with Robert Woods (six receptions, 51 yards) serving as the focal point of the air attack. Otherwise, the offense leaned heavily on LeSean McCoy and also saw the defense tally a touchdown on a 53-yard fumble return. Taylor will face a tough task when he faces the Patriots in New England in Week 4.
