Russell signed with Philadelphia's practice squad Wednesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Russell failed to make the 53-man roster, but the rookie undrafted free agent out of Colorado had a strong training camp and will remain in the Eagles' organization. He's unlikely to get many opportunities to contribute in 2023, as the Eagles have four tight ends on their roster.
