The Broncos elevated Prentice from the practice squad ahead of Monday's game against the Chiefs, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.
Denver cut Prentice following the preseason, but the 29-year-old fullback will be temporarily added back to the roster in advance of Monday's season opener. Prentice suited up for all 17 games of the regular season with Denver in 2025, carrying 10 times for 44 yards and adding six receptions for 53 yards on eight targets.
