The Broncos placed Browning on injured reserve Saturday due to a foot injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Browning injured his foot during the Broncos' Week 2 loss against the Steelers. He was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs after being unable to practice all week, and the 2021 third-round pick will now have to miss at least the next four games after being placed on Denver's injured reserve. The severity of his foot injury isn't clear, but the earliest Browning can return is Week 7 against the Saints on Oct. 17. Nik Bonitto will move into a starting role at linebacker alongside Alex Singleton, Cody Barton and Jonathon Cooper while Browning is sidelined.
