With Nix being held out of the team's final exhibition game, coach Sean Payton relayed that Jarrett Stidham will start Sunday and play 8-12 snaps, after which Zach Wilson will get an extended look, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. The next game action Nix will see comes Sept. 8, when he's scheduled to start against the Seahawks in Week 1. The No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft was officially named Denver's starting quarterback following Wednesday's practice.
