Callahan (knee) has been activated from injured reserve and is expected to play against the Lions on Sunday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
After missing the last four games with a knee injury that looked far more gruesome at the time, Callahan has been taken off injured reserve. This is a big boost for the Broncos defense as the corner recorded four pass deflections and 21 tackles through his first eight games. Callahan's return will complement standout rookie Patrick Surtain nicely, as the duo will form a secondary that can be extremely dangerous for the remainder of the season.
