The Broncos placed Uwazurike (shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Uwazurike wasn't able to practice at all this week due to a shoulder issue. He started seven of Denver's first eight games, but he's now required to miss the team's next four contests. Third-round rookie Tyler Onyedim could see the first gameday action of his career as a result.
