Johnson was placed on the COVID-19 list Monday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

Johnson was selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Broncos, but he will have a delayed start to his pro career after landing on the COVID list. The 21-year-old was one of five defensive backs Denver added in the offseason.
