Simmons (hip) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
It's not obvious at this point when Simmons picked up the injury or how severe it is. Either way, he'll probably need to return to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance to play Sunday versus Kansas City.
